  • White Rice

Ginger and Garlic Shrimp

  • 1 1/2 pounds ram shrimp, peeled - tails on is ok
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 2 t ginger paste or a 1 inch piece of finer finely grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 lime juiced, plus more for serving

Sauce options

  • Thai Chili Sauce
  • Spicy mayo
  • Hot sauce, like Sriracha
  • Soy sauce

Other Elements

  • Avocado
  • Pickled red onions
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Edamame
  • Thinly sliced cucumber
  • Shredded carrot
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sautéed bok choy
  • Sliced zucchini, sautéed in sesame oil and soy

Instructions

Base

Cook rice.

Ginger and Garlic Shrimp

Mix sauce ingredients (ginger, garlic, soy and lime).

Season the shrimp lightly, and cook them in the skillet.

Add sauce and cook for a further 1-2 minutes.

Choose desired sauce/s.
