Grilled Parmesan Fish Topping

I very tasty topping to liven up bland fish fillets.

Ingredients

  • 4 white fish portions

Topping

  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese (nicest with real shredded)
  • 3 T butter, softened
  • 3 T mayo
  • 2 T fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 t dried basil
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 1/8 t onion powder

Instructions

Preheat broiler. Line pan with foil. Place fish on foil, seasoning lightly on one side.

Topping

Stir together the remaining ingredients and blend well.

Broil fish till upper side is cooked. Turn over and broil other side.

Before fish is completely cooked, top with the mixture. Broil until topping is browning slightly and fish is cooked.
