White Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/8 c yeast
  • 2 c warm water
  • 3 t sugar
  • 2 t salt
  • 2 T oil
  • 8 c flour (start with seven)

Instructions

Mix yeast, water and sugar.

Add rest of ingredients and knead well.

Leave to rise 1 hour and knead again.

Form into 2 loaves, or rolls and cover.

Leave to rise I hour.

Bake at 350° F for about an hour.

Kneading is the secret of bread.
