Spoon Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 c milk
  • ½ c corn meal
  • ½ t salt
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Instructions

In a pot, mix milk, corn meal, salt and boil, stirring all the time.

Remove from heat and stir in butter and eggs.

Pour into greased oven-proof dish and bake uncovered at 350° F for 30 - 35 minutes - until golden brown and set firm.

Serve with extra butter.
