Pie Crust

A simple pastry for pies.

Ingredients

  • β€’ 3 c flour
  • β€’ 1 t salt
  • β€’ 1 ΒΌ c butter
  • β€’ 1 egg
  • β€’ 6 T cold water
  • β€’ 1 t vinegar

Instructions

Sift flour and salt, cut in margarine until well combined and crumbly. Add remaining ingredients. Form 3 or 4 balls and chill. Roll out and line pie plates. Makes 3 large or 4 small rounds. May be frozen.
