Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 4 t baking powder
  • ½ t salt
  • 1 T sugar (optional)
  • 1/3 c oil
  • 1 egg plus milk to make 1 c

Instructions

Sift dry ingredients then add wet. Mix gently and not for long.

Spoon into muffin tray and bake for 10 minutes at 380°F.

Add grated cheese for cheese scones.

Makes 12 scones.
