Ingredients

  • 3 c flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ t salt
  • 1 ½ t baking powder
  • 2 ¼ c sugar
  • 1 ½ c milk
  • 1 1/8 c oil
  • 1 ½ T poppy seeds
  • 1 t almond essence
  • 1 t butter essence
  • 1 t vanilla

Instructions

Add all ingredients and mix lightly.

Makes 24 muffins, or 1 - 2 loaves.

Bake at 350°F for about an hour for loaves, less for muffins.

Vary recipe with 1 T lemon zest.
