•2 whole unpeeled oranges, wedged and seeds removed
•¾ c orange juice
•¾ c chopped dates, or raisins
•2 eggs
•½ c butter, softened
•2 5/8 c flour
•1 1/8 c sugar
•1 ½ t baking powder
•1 ½ t bicarbonate of soda
Instructions
Combine orange pieces and orange juice in blender. Add dates, egg and butter and blend again. Pour into bowl with remaining ingredients. Stir to combine. Bake at 180 for 20 minutes. Makes 24 muffins.
