Lasagna Overnight Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 30 oz. jar marinara sauce
  • ¾ c water
  • 1 t salt
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 16 oz. package ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
  • ½ c Parmesan cheese
  • 2 T basil

Instructions

Cook ground beef and sausage in a large frying pan over medium-high.

Mix together the marinara sauce, water, basil and salt.

Mix the ricotta and eggs together.

In a 9x13 dish, alternatively arrange lasagna noodles, beef mixture, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.

Top with Parmesan cheese.

Cover and place in fridge overnight.

If using a glass casserole dish, place in oven as you turn oven on.

Bake at 350° F for 1 hour. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
