Gourmet Meat Loaf

2 medium potatoes cut in strips (hash browns)

Meat loaf

• 1 kilo ground beef
• ½ lb. sausage
• 1 onion, chopped finely
• 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
• ½ c ketchup
• ¾ c crushed saltines crackers
• 2 eggs
• 2 t Worchester sauce
• 2 t salt
• ¼ t pepper

Sauce

• ½ c ketchup
• ¼ c brown sugar
• 1 ½ t dry mustard
• ½ t nutmeg

Place potatoes on base of slow cooker pot.

Meatloaf

Combine meatloaf ingredients, form into a loaf and place on top of potatoes.

Sauce

Combine sauce ingredients and spoon over meat loaf. Cook on low for 8 to 12 hours.
