(I sometimes use my Cinnamon bun recipe and add spices and raisins.) Mix dry ingredients then rub in butter. Prepare yeast with milk and sugar. Add to dry ingredients. Add egg and knead. Leave to rise. Punch down and divide into rolls. Paint rolls with beaten egg, and then pipe crosses over the top. Bake at 180 C for 15 - 20 minutes. Glaze: boil 50 ml each of milk, water and sugar together for four minutes. Brush buns. Crosses: 5/6 c flour <1/4 c oil 2ml salt ½ c milk
