Basil Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 c fresh basil
  • ¼ c toasted pine nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • ¼ t salt
  • ¼ t pepper
  • 1/3 c olive oil
  • ½ c parmesan cheese

Instructions

Blend basil, pine nuts, garlic, salt and pepper. Gradually add oil to form a smooth and thick consistency. Transfer to a bowl and add cheese.
