375°F for 30 minutes, then 325°F for rest of time - applies to all meats
Chicken Roasts (stuffed takes longer!) Times are per kilo
1.5-2kg chicken//60-80 minutes//375°F got 30 minutes, then 325°F for rest of time
2.5-3 kg chicken//50-60 minutes//375°F got 30 minutes, then 325°F for rest of time
Beef Roasts Times are per 500g
Rare-Medium roast - 10-25 minutes per 500g plus 15 minutes
Well done roast - 20 minutes per 500g plus 20 minutes
Mutton roasts
Medium roast - 20-30 minutes per 500g plus 15 minutes
Pork Roasts
35-40 minutes per 500g plus 30 minutes
Oven temperatures
°Celsius - °Fahrenheit
Very hot: 230-240 is 475-500
Hot: 220 is 425-450
Med hot: 190-200 is 375-400
Moderate: 180 is 350
Moderate slow: 170 is 325
Slow: 130-150 is 250-300
Cool: 100 is 170
