Meringues

The ultimate "suspiro", good with fruit and cream and anything!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 50 g fine, castor sugar
  • Lemon juice is optional
  • coloring is optional

Instructions

Beat egg white until stiff. Gradually add sugar, being sure the sugar dissolves before adding more.

Pipe or spoon mixture onto a tray, and bake at coolest temperature for 2 - 3 hours.

Store in an airtight container.
