Hot Milk Sponge Cake

• 4 eggs
• 1 c sugar
• 1 t vanilla
• 1 c milk
• ½ butter
• 2 c flour
• 3 t baking powder

Combine sugar and eggs and beat till thick and fluffy, then add vanilla.

Gently heat milk and butter together, until the butter melts.

Combine dry ingredients together.

Fold them lightly into the egg mixture alternately with the milk mixture.

Pour into greased dish and bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.

Cool and ice.
