Fettuccine Verde

An easy one-pot meal with lots of vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 bag fettuccine
  • 6 T butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 container of mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 c cream
  • ½ c parmesan
  • salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 chicken, cooked and deboned (Rotisserie chicken works great)
  • Vegetables, cooked with fettuccine (peas, carrots, broccoli, etc.)

Instructions

Cook chicken in water.

Use broth to cook noodles, adding any vegetables at appropriate cooking times, and drain.

Meanwhile, heat butter, cook garlic,onion, and mushroom. Add chicken. Add cream and boil lightly until it thickens. Add cheese.

Mix everything together, season and serve.
