Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • ½ t salt
  • 2/3 c shortening/butter
  • 6-7 T cold water

Instructions

Cut butter into dry ingredients. Add water. Roll out and cover bottom. Fill with pie filling, and then cover and seal. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes (first 25 covered). Apple: 6 c sliced apples ½ to 2/3 c sugar 1 T flour Cinnamon if desired Blueberry: 6 c blueberries, fresh ½ to ¾ c sugar ¼ - 1/3 cornstarch. Leave pie to cool completely before cutting. Peach: 6 c sliced peaches ½ to ¾ c sugar 3 T flour
