Apple Crumble

Ingredients

Base:

  • 1 c flour
  • ½ c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ c cornstarch
  • 2 t baking powder
  • ½ c margarine, melted

Cake:

  • 1 tin pie apples
  • ½ t cinnamon
  • ¼ t nutmeg
  • 2 ½ T sugar
  • 4 T raisins

Instructions

Mix base, adding egg last.

Press half into pie plate, keeping half to crumble over top. It rises a lot, so keep the base thin.

Mix filling and fill base.

Crumble remaining base mixture over the top.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.

Serve with cream or ice cream.
