Ingredients
- • 1 c sugar
- • 3 T butter
- • 3 eggs
- • 1 c flour
- • 1 t baking powder
- • salt
- • ¼ c milk
- • 1 tin pie apples
- • Sauce:
- • 1 c milk/cream
- • 1 c sugar
- • 1 t caramel essence
Instructions
Cream sugar and butter, then add eggs. Add dry ingredients then mix in milk. Spoon into greased dish and add apples, leveling off the surface. Bake at 180 C for 25 - 40 minutes. Boil sauce ingredients. Pour over cake 10 minutes before end of baking time. Freezes well.
